Oak National Academy
Oak National Academy is a new collection of high-quality lessons and online resources. Backed by the Government, it has been created in response to the coronavirus lockdown.
The website provides an online classroom, offering free access to great teachers, delivering video lessons, quizzes and worksheets. All of the lessons are ordered so your child can learn along a clear plan. New lessons and resources are provided each week.
This will help parents and carers who are looking for some structure and guidance in addition to the materials you have already received from school.
Although the lessons are web-based, they ask children to stop and complete activities and tasks in between the teaching, so they are not entirely screen dependent.
We hope that this will prove a useful tool in your child(ren)’s home learning.
If you would like to use this resource and complete the lessons then please begin on a Monday (27th will be Week 2), as the lessons build on a daily basis for the week - if you would like to have a look at Week 1 in advance of this, the link is here:
