Week Three - Mismatched Monsters
This week the children were given an unusual challenge that involved a lot of thinking, but gave their imaginations a lot of fuel.
We made monsters in relief (flat, in 2D), but everyone split into pairs and made half a monster each, left side or right side. Then we mixed and matched and saw how many silly combinations we could get!
The children had a lot of fun and, while some took a while to get to grips with the concept, once everyone had understood the idea they enjoyed the challenge. As this wasn't a very time consuming challenge for some of the children, they made their own 3D monsters once they'd finished.
